Senior presidential adviser Kari Lake appears to have resolved any doubts about what she wants to do with the Voice of America.

Lake seeks for it to look and sound a lot like the far-right One America News Network: on Tuesday night she announced that she had struck a deal to serve up the pro-Trump outlet’s news reports for Voice of America’s foreign audiences, at no taxpayer cost.

I more meant to consider all the other countries, and not that 100% of them are like it.

I’m guessing you’re from Canada? PP didn’t get his ass kicked, he lost by about 4%. That should frighten you.

Although if you’re from Australia, the divide was nearly 10% on the TPP, so good on them.

I’m glad your country kicked those cunts. Truly.

But, have some pity for those of us who didn’t vote for our insanity.

          Oh, I absolutely do

There are so many wonderful people in the US, but there are loads of lunatics, and an unfortunately large cohort who could have voted against it, but didn’t bother. They’re just as responsible

Yes, a large number of people chose not to vote. The United States is currently under attack by who the fuck ever to encourage left-wing voters not to vote. On Lemmy, you can thank the ML community for their “genocide Joe“ nonsense which targeted left-wing voters to abstain from voting in order to make a statement. I believe that this push was from outside of the country. I don’t want to be a conspiracy terrorist in this thread, so let’s just leave it at that.

I am hoping that the United States declares that same-sex marriage is no longer a thing, and that Australia will accept me as a refugee. My spouse, same sex, is a nurse with management experience, I am a software developer with 20 years of experience including management. Both of us would be a wonderful addition to your country and would work very hard to ensure our place.

Considering the entire EU is doing jack shit I’d say most of them are zionists, butt cavern. Germany is still providing weapons. Which magical EU country do you live in that has managed to stay squeaky clean all these years? Or… are you just a hypocrite like everyone else?
