I’ve been hearing from americans my whole life, how the rest of the world doesn’t actually have free speech, while the USA has complete and total free speech, and is the most free country in the world ('Murica fuck yeee). Well congratulations americans, you can no longer voice your opinion in a private university without being arrested by the government. A university that WANT’S you to voice your opinion none the less. They’re not even trespassing, they have permission from this privately owned entity, to voice their opinion on this privately owned piece of land.

If you can transfer to another school then absolutely do it. If they’ll sell you out for protesting genocide they’ll sell you out for being socialist, antifa, or a “DEI student”.

JD Vance went over to Europe to lecture them on free speech while students in the US were being arrested for having the wrong opinions on the genocide that the US is paying for.

He was whining that Europe was starting to push back on far-right disinfo operations like Twitter and Facebook…that the US/MAGA party is paying for.

Like always, they want protection and sympathy for themselves, and vengeance upon everyone else.

Pathetic losers trying to negotiate with Trump, the upper level faculty of Columbia have already failed by even entering into a conversation with Trump under the guise that the destruction of Academia was an unintended consequence not Literally The Point.

The place of faculty “negotiating” with Trump was showing up with the students in solidarity and getting arrested.

…and before anyone goes into a response like “they are afraid of losing their job”, I get that but there will be no future for anyone in academia in the US if we lose the fight today that we are losing, fight now, it is now or never.
