It’s not AI and it’s not fake. (Well it’s a fake tree, but the image is real.) It’s a regular cell phone tower intentionally decorated like a tree to make it “blend in” because some cities require that. TIL That these aren’t as common as I thought lol Here in my state we have both pine/redwood (like this) and palm tree types.
There’s one nearby where I used to live that was disguised like this but for a different reason. They bought the rights to build the tower from a church only under the condition that it was disguised like this.

We have these exact towers in the city in which I grew up. This is not AI generated. It is supposed to blend in more with the scenery except that trees there top out at half the height of the towers in nearly all cases.
