Ok, time to use K because I’m sure as hell not using F.
Alexander Mashinsky orchestrated one of the biggest frauds in the crypto industry
Small potatoes compared to the con man in the white house.
Would it be too much to ask to get the convicted felon grifter cheeto-in-chief to serve his punishment in jail too?
Here’s a playlist of Coffeezilla’s investigation into Celsius:

And yesterday’s celebration video from him:
Dude only made 48mil on it and had to give it all back plus 12 years. Clearly he wasn’t sucking off enough republicans, and he definitely should not have done this in New York.
he was rubbing it in his victims faces too. after scamming them he was selling “go bank yourself” tshirts or something like that. we wish the SEC caught more of these thieves
Wow, that is kinda douchey. You don’t rob a bank and then call up and laugh at them.
Having no clue that Celsius is/was a crypto platform, this headline sounds like USA propaganda pushing Fahrenheit.
I assumed it was the drink.
Since American… I wonder all the more what the rights to the brand name are like. I couldn’t find anything quickly. Is Celsius/CELSIUS a protected trademark? Well, in America, the most unfair economy, I wouldn’t be surprised either way.
It is a surname. You surely cannot register a trademark against a surname, even in the USA?
You sure can! It’s done all the time for family businesses. Though there are some stipulations; if your last name is super common, is also a common word, or name of a profession, then the trademark is likely to get rejected. For example, if your last name is Brown or Smith or Hunter, you’re probably not gonna get it. But if you’re Smitty Werbenjägermanjensen, then you’re probably in luck. It’s a very manual process that’s kind of open to interpretation by whoever is filing your application.
McDonald’s is probably the most widely-known trademarked surname.
thanks for mentioning it, thought it was about the energy drinks
cold
12C is fairly mild. 12F… yeah, you’re gonna need some layers.
12°C is mild? that’s jumper and pants*3 weather. But I do come from a hot place, so yeah.
12C is definitely considered mild in Ontario, Canada unless it’s the mid of summer. Then it’s bitterly cold
It’s not uncommon to be below 0C for days at time during the winter here, with dips to -10ish overnight. Summer regularly tops 32C. It’s 17 right now and absolutely glorious.
