Bombing of civilians is a long established part of war. As was looting, pillaging and anything else that reminded the populace that war sucks.
Gengis Khan doesn’t have as many descendents as he does because of consentual relations, for example. War is war.
It’s not pretty. And none of that is me saying it’s okay.

That said, I see Ukrainians as fighting for their survival and I dont fault them in the slightest.
They only mean states rights when it gets to their desired end point. To some degree that’s human nature, but integrity is supposed to make it less common.
