There were studies done, 20, 30, maybe as far back as 40 or 50 years ago that concluced that even a couple hundred nuclear weapons detonated anywhere on earth, in a nuclear war, would doom most life on earth in the fallout and aftermath.
and said study was specifically focusing on India and Pakistan blowing each other up. and how it’d affect everyone else.
the only reason the PPC exists, is because Bernier was sour that he lost the Conservative leadership contest to Andrew Scheer.
Now that the overton window of the conservative party has shifted so far right, the PPC is effectively a pointless party, outside of Bernier wanting to be in charge, there is no reason for the PPC to exist, they will probably merge back into the CPC.
I’m of the opinion, that if the wrong actions are taken, we’re in the opening stage of what is essentially another Crimean Crisis.
