Real men never back down. Real men never run away. Real men can do anything. As a man, you own the world around you, including feeeeemales.

I can keep going, but tbh I feel gross. I had to deal with a lot of this as a kid. I don’t think my parents realized how gross the male adults around me were, otherwise I’m pretty sure they would have been shocked and appalled by it.

I’m actually kinda concerned that’s part of the plan, but with the federal government instead of state. Plan a big “bailout” that involves buying all the bankrupt farmers and then use that to withhold food from dissidents.

That’s great but if they go bust, we starve.

Do it on the clock, during a work day. Make sure you plan for nothing to get done that day. Make it optional: go to the field trip (expenses paid), or take a free day of PTO. Either way they get paid and, because you planned for it in the development schedule, don’t have to worry about potentially having to play catch up because of the day off later. That way it gives them the choice to go do something fun on the company’s dime or stay at home and recharge. Another thing to note: don’t limit yourself to game-related stuff like video game museums.

Go to an aquarium.

Go to a zoo.

Go to a national park if there’s one nearby.

Go to a natural science museum.

The artistic side of game dev takes inspiration from a wide variety of sources, not just other forms of media. Tbh, the most boring field trip I can think of would be to go to a movie theater or video game museum. I want to see something new and take inspiration from that.

Weighted Wildlife. They specify how much each one weighs on their site. I have an opossum from them and I love her. She’s one of my favorite plushies (don’t tell the others I said that though). They’ve also got some 5lbs dragons in the works.

Creep Cat Toy Company also makes some weighted plushies like the raccoon and opossum, and the weighted ones come with a zipper in the belly so you can, remove, or move the weighted bean bags around.

The fact that quantum dots are already being successfully applied to LCD-LED and OLED screens is encouraging for future QDEL products. QDEL stakeholders claim that the tech could bring efficiencies like lower power consumption and higher brightness than OLED. (Research using a prototype device has recorded quantum dot light-emitting diodes reaching 614,000 nits. Of course, those aren’t the type of results you should expect to see in a real-life consumer product.)

That’s fucking insane. HDR 1400 displays are at least 1,400 nits. 614,000 nits seems like you’d be staring at the fucking sun.

There’s also hope that QDEL could eventually last longer than OLED, especially since QDEL doesn’t rely on organic materials that can cause burn-in.

Tbh the burn-in issue is the reason why I don’t like OLEDs as computer monitors. I know phones and TVs don’t tend to have major burn-in issues, but the fact that it exists sucks. TVs have a variable-enough image that long-term use isn’t an issue imo, and even the most thrifty person will probably end up replacing their phone every 4~6 yrs. However, I’m used to having computer monitors be long-term things. My last monitor lasted about 10yrs before it died.

As it stands, QDEL displays would become noticeably dimmer more quickly than today’s OLED displays.

Aw, that’s disappointing. At the same time though, if they’re able to get even 10% of the 614,000 nits on commercial units, then they’d have to lose a significant amount of brightness to dim to current display levels.

But optimists believe QDEL display lifetimes could one day be on par with LCD-LEDs and outlast OLEDs.

Yeah, I hope so too.

Call me paranoid, but I feel like the “gay furry” part is a false flag. Especially the demand for irl catgirls and not catboys. I mean, they could be lesbians, but something has felt off about everything they claim responsibility for.
