Even immigrants who have become naturalized citizens are worrying needlessly about their ability to leave and get back into the country, according to [immigration attorney Charles] Kuck.

“I had a U.S. citizen come in this last week. She was literally in tears. She wanted to go to the wedding of a very dear family member,” Kuck said. “She’s been a citizen for 25 years, never convicted of anything. She was crying in my office.”

I do not think that word means what you think it means, Chuck. That woman knows what’s up and is right to worry.

Nah, just like everywhere else in the world, liberals (both in the Canadian political party sense and general ideological sense) are losing ground because they refuse to address the root causes of things like the housing crisis and spiraling economic inequality. The working class is fed up, and with no real solutions being offered by the center to center-left, they’re turning in desperation to lying right-wing demagogues.

At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if they start “deporting” African-American citizens to their “country of origin.”
