2 days agoBait and switch is literally promosing something and fhen replacing it with something else, which is what happened here. It doesn’t imply any cleverness and has extremely negative connotations.

Bait and switch is a specific type type of fraud.
“I don’t understand that inexperienced people are inexperienced.”
Assuming they are referring to new graduates.
Any reasonable court would equate requiring a warrant and requiring payment in the context of the 4th amendment (and similar rights/laws in other countries).
