    I wonder if this will kick-start WW3. I’ve got my doomsday prep kit ready just in case. It’s a camping chair and a bottle of Southern Comfort. I like to try and maintain realistically low expectations.

      nah. foreign powers are completely uninterested, so this will remain a local conflict. there’s nothing there to forcibly draw other countries in as well

        Most of Europes pharmaceutical drugs are sourced from India these days. India is crucial for Russia to launder its oil to circumvent EU sanctions. India is a huge producer of a lot of other things. An all out war would likely also involve a lot of cyber warfare which would affects the large IT outsourced to India and will likely hit a lot of “bystanders”. China might use the weakness of India to move up in its border conflict with them…

        India and Pakistan represent about 15-20% of the global population. This absolutely has the potential to draw other powers in.
